Why the Double Standard |

| If a lawyer should find a
flaw in your property deed that could affect your ownership, and he does
not tell you or correct it, you would think him most negligent.
If a doctor examines you and finds a problem that endangers your life but does not tell you of it, would you consider him your friend? Certainly not! If a banker discovers your account to be flawed and you could lose all your money but does not inform you so you can correct it, would you want to do business with him? Not on your life! But people consider preachers differently. When he preaches God's Word, condemn sin as God has condemned it and tells of God's only way of salvation, why do some resent both him and the message? Could it be a lack of love for truth but love for sin, and the desire to go to heaven their own way? Many are not like that, however. What about you? |
