What a Great Day |

| You won't be as
excited as I am about today, of course. But today we became
great-grandparents with the birth of William Duncan Boyd. He is the son of
John and Jessica Boyd who live in Martin, TN where John is completing his
school work. John is the son of our Bill and Lori and Jessica is the
daughter of Dennis and Kathy Gulledge. Dennis preaches for the Mabelvale
church in Little Rock. Little William is the fourth consecutive generation
of Williams on our side and weighed in at 6 pounds and 12 ounces. It was
marvelous that they could send us a picture on the computer within a few
moments of his birth.
The hymn that we sing, "The Lord Has Been Mindful of Me" is the song I sing louder than any other. There are now 26 of us. It was the first week of March 27 years ago we became grandparents and now the first week in March we become great-grandparents. I guess 27 more years I'll be a great-great grandfather (maybe). May have to just think about that. I wanted to tell the world about William. We are so proud as you can imagine. Remember them all in prayer if you will. |
