They Call Anything Christian

It would offend me to have my name identified with just anything; even things I oppose. How must our Lord feel when people inconsistently and hypocritically do that to His name? Without regard for Biblical teaching, many will say they are Christians and openly admit to defying and denying what He taught. Nothing could be more spiritually despicable.

Some have written how they are Christians but how they support those, especially in the political realm, who reject nearly everything Christian. They support those who favor abortion, homosexuality, same-sex marriage, drinking alcohol, adultery, multi-marriage, almost any and every vice you can consider, but still say they are Christians. They say they support political parties whose history has been a rejection of the Bible and support every effort to suppress it. Yet, they say they are Christians.

I had just as soon contend that I am against stealing but constantly steal. I had just as soon say murder is wrong but then murder. I had just as soon say I love the Lord and serve Satan. Isaiah 5: 20 speaks of those who call evil good and good evil.
