The Folly of Grace Only |

| Some denominational
teachers teach that salvation is by grace alone. Grace is God's unmerited
favor toward man. Since God wants all men to be saved, if salvation is by
grace alone, everyone will be saved. Then why be concerned about the lost?
If salvation is by grace alone, why are we held accountable? Let God tend to everything. If salvation is by grace alone, and anyone is lost, whose fault would it be? If salvation is by grace alone, and anyone is lost, is it because God's grace is insufficient? If salvation is by grace alone why is there so much in Scripture about faith, repentance, confession, baptism and faithfulness? The truth is that salvation is by grace by not grace alone. Why do men hold to absurd false doctrines? |
