Privilege and Blessing

When a Christian considers his presence at the hours of worship on Lord's Day to be a mere duty and does not consider it a privilege and blessing he has sorely missed much of the will and way of Jesus Christ.

This is a reflection on his spiritual maturity and a glaring sign that he ought to concentrate on his Bible more than he is doing.

There is one great and unalterable truth in God's dealings with man we should respect. Everything He asks of us is always for our good. That He calls upon us to worship cannot be disputed. We strive to become more like who we worship. Therefore it stands to reason that it is a blessing to us and for us that we worship as His will directs. Let us learn to consider it so.
