Powerless Word |

| Paul wrote, that the
Word of God is God's power unto salvation. The Word is so powerful that,
when followed, can convert a sinner into a saint and make a person's life
be a fulfillment of his reason to live. Nothing is so powerful as to make
men whole as the Word of God.
But even though man is a limited being he can make the Word powerless. How can he do that? How can man reduce the power of God to weakness? Jesus said, "Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition... (Mark 7: 13). When a person follows his own will and way and the traditions of men rather than the revealed will of God the Word cannot be of benefit to him. It cannot accomplish its intended purpose. It is rendered impotent to save. The Word will save one and all who conform to it. It cannot save any who will not believe and obey.new_page_1.htm |
