Good Admonition |
||
| Behind the great
struggle people have concerning Christ is the determination of whose will
is going to govern. It seems that so many are dead set of having and doing
what they want and like the revealed will of Christ notwithstanding.
We sing a great song in our worship where we encourage one another to "let Him have His way with thee." The blessings He offers are conditional. If we could only learn and practice that sentiment expressed by the Lord Himself, "Thy will be done." Once we decide that His way is not only the best way but the only way and the way we shall travel then we shall in time receive the eternal blessing of heaven. But most of us already know that. Too many do not act accordingly. |
