Hypocrites Bid Godspeed |

| There is a
hypocritical element among brethren who say they do not support abortion,
same sex "marriage," homosexuality, public immorality, etc. At
the same time they rush to the voting booths and cast their ballot in
favor of the ones who promote such things. There is no more two-faced
shame than that. (Second John 9-11)
How they smart when their hypocrisy is exposed. They are people who SAY they love the Lord but give their political party preference over what the Lord says. They may not likely commit such sins themselves, but they take pleasure in them that do them and promote them. They denounce preaching against such things as "politics" when the real truth is they put their politics above Christ. Are they so deluded to think God does not see their duplicity? Sadly, some of these hypocrites are protected and encouraged in their rebellion against truth by those who are supposed to be shepherds of the flock. They prefer to attack those who expose the hypocrisy and teach the truth. No wonder the church has such little influence on the morality of community!
