The Gospel is for All

Racial tensions were extreme in the first century. Years earlier God had segregated the descendants of Abraham from the rest of humanity and created a special relationship with such people, the Jews.

This special relationship was not based on superior mentality, color of skin, wealth, or any such things that seem to divide people. This came out of the covenant God made with Abraham, "In thy seed shall all nations of the earth be blessed" (Gen. 22:18), having reference to Christ (Gal. 3: 16).

When the Lord's kingdom, the church, was established this wall of partition between Jew and Gentile was abolished (Eph. 2: 14-16). The blessings of God are now available to "whosoever will may come" (Rev. 22:17). A dominant theme of the gospel is THE GOSPEL IS FOR ALL.
