God Expects It

God expects the Christian to accept and discharge the responsibility to separate himself from the world. This does not mean he must leave the planet or live a monastic style of life, never using material things and denying himself contact with humanity. He must, however, separate himself from the sinful practices so prevalent in the world and companions who walk that way.

The Christian must heed, "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty," (2 Cor. 6: 17, 18).

It is wrong for a Christian to live a sinful life. "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" (Rom. 6: 1, 2).
