Get the Best Advice

Free advice is usually worth what you pay for it. But with so many decisions we have to make it does pay to get guidance from reliable sources. Not just anybody is a reliable source, however. Why should Christians seek advice from those who do not love the Lord, show no respect for morality, ignore His church, ridicule the Bible? What can people like that offer anybody that is lasting?

All decisions must be made harmonious with the will of God. Every bit of advice must be measured accordingly. Some just do not have the same values, goals and hopes in life as Christians do. So we should seek advice from faithful Christians. It will more likely harmonize with God's truth.

What is the matter with some of us? Why seek advice in marriage from a multi-divorced person? Why ask a drunk how to stay sober? Why ask those who have lost their children how to rear children? They don't know.

After seeking and getting advice, you must decide. Be sure to inquire of God and pray for His providence. If you are His child, you shall receive.
