Determined to Reject

Critics of the Bible are determined to reject it regardless of the evidence against them. Archeology has been a marvelous friend of the Bible. Customs, cultures, names, places, events, over and over again have such things been corroborated that are recorded in the Bible. The Biblical record is true, not because evidence has been found, but because it is of God.

Critics have suggested one thing after another to deny the reliability of the Bible. Time after time their contentions have been proven wrong. But do they change their attitude? No, they simply pass over it and go to another objection.

It seems with many that every minute detail of the Biblical record must be verified by actual findings or they will pursue their denial of it. It does not matter to them how many times the Bible record, they once refuted, has been shown to be true. The only explanation for this is their determination to disbelieve.
