The Church is the Kingdom

  It is most unfortunate that some make a distinction between the church and the kingdom, contending the Lord came to establish His kingdom but did not and substituted the church for a while until He comes again to establish the kingdom.

  The Scriptures teaches the Lord built His church and called it the kingdom (Matt. 16:16-18). Those in the church were in the kingdom (Col. 1:13). How could they be in something that had not yet come?

  The are numerous evidences in Scripture to show the church is the kingdom and we should be acquainted with them, not only to refute false doctrines, but to know the truth and the way of salvation.
