Cause to Consider

Little things can cause you to consider more important things. Having my eyes dilated to treat a problem adversely affect my ability to see so as to read. Everyone who has had this knows this. But it passes. But what a time to reflect on blessings we may be inclined to just take for granted!

Sight is so wonderful. But even more so are the spiritual blessings in Christ. And what of the material provisions God gives us? How do you measure the love of family and brethren? Our freedom, which some even in America are destroying, is precious. Do we even have time to count our many blessings and name them one by one?

We should not take these good things for granted and must offer our thanks unto Him from whom all blessings flow. Consider today the bountiful mercy and grace of God and resolve to serve Him.
