An Apt Description |

| The Holy Spirit
through Paul provides us a very suitable description of the
"wise" people of our time, the homosexuals, evolutionists,
atheists, feminists, many so-called professors and experts and others who
are defiant against their Creator and Judge. Thinking themselves to be so
smart and superior they talk and act like nobody has any sense but them
and they are the first in the human race to ever have been truly smart.
But there have been others before this current generation of reprobates who thought they were so wise. Paul defines them, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools" (Romans 1: 22). That fits these degenerate servants of the devil perfectly. Man never shows himself more foolish than when he decides to defy and deny the wisdom of God. Seeing the low level of depravity to which they take themselves, you would think the "wise" people would learn how ridiculous their positions are. But they do not learn. That shows how "wise" they really are. |
