Admiration for Them |
||
| As has been
expressed quite adequately in DAILY NOTES many times, it is not the work
or message of the church to replace and operate civil government. But
ethics and morality falls well within its message and it is not politics
to condemn immorality, murder, theft, lying, perversion, abortion,
drunkenness, etc. that is so prominent among politicians and the policies
of their party. Yet, some in civil government try to intimidate religious
leaders into remaining silent by threatening jail, fines, taxes, etc. if
they speak the Word of God that applies to the low-life vermin who gain
political power.
More and more we are hearing of religious leaders defying the tyrants from the left who hate God and would deny freedom of religion and free speech. We admire those who do so and will always be one of them. |
